Diy Scroll Sign and Mini Mason Jar Craft for Fall

I made a couple of quick fall decor pieces to add to my entryway using Dollar Tree products! This diy scroll sign and mini mason jar are super quick and easy to create and add a subtle touch of fall while I get my other projects done for the season.

I’ve really been getting into the buffalo plaid design lately. When I saw the fall sign at Dollar Tree with the black and white print, I decided I would take it apart and use it to create something new! The mini mason jar craft is a nice added touch as a placeholder on our wet coat rack.

Scroll Sign Diy

Supplies:

How-to:

  1. Deconstruct “thankful” sign and cut off long edges (using a craft knife) for the top and bottom of the scroll.

  2. Attach the buffalo check patterned pieces to each end of the poster board using hot glue.

  3. Cut and weed the vinyl design. I’ve added a link to my design space project here if you have a Cricut and want to make this exact sign! If you don’t have a cutting machine I’ve also created a printable that you can easily put into a frame!

  4. Place the vinyl onto the poster and add pumpkins to the truck bed! I used 5 for the number in our family.

Mini Mason Jar Craft

Supplies:

  • plastic craft jar (Dollar Tree)

  • wired jute rope (Dollar Tree)

  • Spanish moss (Dollar Tree)

  • assorted floral stems

How-to:

  1. Remove lid from craft jar and add twine around the neck of the jar. Create a loop for hanging and secure with hot glue.

  2. Add Spanish moss to the jar and arrange floral stems in the moss.

I’m thinking I may just switch out the flowers in this mini mason jar seasonally. It’s just soo cute!

I’d love to know what your go to decorating item is for the fall season! Do you use pumpkins, apples, leaves or maybe all three? I definitely lean more toward pumpkins!
