I’ve really been showing a lot of love to my entryway this fall and this Dollar Tree diy is one of the last two crafts I made for the space. I’m one of those people who can’t help but fill every empty corner in my house and this stacked pumpkin decor is filling the void by my front door!
I created this staked pumpkin decor piece using varying sized hanging pumpkin signs from the Dollar Tree because I wanted something unique. Since I love the look of pumpkin topiaries, I thought this would be the perfect use for these Dollar Tree signs!
Supplies used:
(3) Decorative hanging pumpkins (Dollar Tree)
scrap fabric (3 different colors)
hot glue
craft sticks
twine
Dollar Tree Stacked Pumpkin How-To:
I trimmed each piece of fabric to fit around the corresponding pumpkin and attached the fabric snugly around each sign using hot glue. I trimmed any excess fabric. I removed the stem from the two larger pumpkins before adding the fabric.
Once each pumpkin was covered in fabric I attached them to each other using the hot glue and to make the stack more secure I added large craft sticks to the back.
I reused the pumpkin stem from the largest pumpkin and wrapped it in twine, secured with hot glue. I left about 1/2 inch at the base of the stem in order to attach it to the top pumpkin in the stack without adding bulk.
